Mayor Schor Announces Road Project Plan:
New Interactive Resources to See Past, Current & Future Roadwork

“Our FY19 Road Project Plan was finalized after holding a series of Neighborhood Road Map meetings in each ward earlier this year,” said Mayor Andy Schor. “We were able to take what we heard and integrate it with other important factors including available budget and mandatory sewer work.”

A number of interactive maps and resources have been created and added to the City of Lansing’s website. “Transparency is a top priority of mine and these new, interactive maps will allow residents to see exactly what roads have been fixed and where future work is planned,” said Mayor Schor. “We are honoring our commitment to provide resources to inform the public of the road plans that we developed, and updates on previous work that has already been completed.”

The interactive maps on the City’s website include a construction map noting projects completed since 2015 and planned projects through 2020, a map of all of the pot holes filled since 2016 and a road condition map.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Neighborhood Road Map meetings and provided input.
