TONIGHT!!

Join us for the kick off of ARTpath: Public Art on the Lansing River Trail! Ten Michigan artists have been chosen to create and install original work along 3.5 miles of the Lansing River Trail.

Learn more about the exhibiting artists and the sites here: http://lansingartgallery.org/artpath2018/

The opening reception will include a multi-modal curatorial tour where you can walk, bike, kayak or canoe along the Grand River to experience each of the sites! River Town Adventures will be open to rent bikes and kayaks! We will have flyers and bike decorating on the patio of the Lansing Center and the artists will be along the river trail to share their work!

Know the Code!

Did you know household garbage must be placed in trash cans with tight fitting lids which cannot sit at the curb longer than 24 hours.

Large items over 30 pounds and/or longer than four feet in length, such as appliances and furniture, are considered bulk items and cost $33/each to have picked up from the curbside. Call 483-4400 to arrange for pick up and pay with credit card, or purchase a bulk sticker from a local grocery stores.

Each individual piece counts as one bulk item.  For example, both a mattress and a box spring will require a sticker/payment.

Refrigerator and freezer doors must be removed.

Low income stickers are available. Please call 517-483-4400 for more information.

Code violations can easily be reported on Lansing Connect.
