Wood Chips Available for FREE

The Ingham County Landbank will be demolishing several homes in Lansing over the summer.  In the process they will take down several trees and have wood chips available for neighbors.  The Landbank will deliver the load of woodchips for FREE.  Please contact Roxanne at 517-267-5221 to request.

Know the Code!

Did you know grass/weeds in excess of 8" is considered a public nuisance?

Residents are responsible for maintaining public property adjacent to yours, including parkways, sidewalks, and alleys.  The parkway is the portion of a yard between the city street and the sidewalk.

Keep bushes and shrubbery trimmed back from the public right-of-way, for the safety of neighbors on foot, those backing out of driveways and those pulling into traffic.  Bushes and shrubs in the front yard cannot exceed 36" in height near any driveway or intersection.

Code violations can easily be reported on Lansing Connect.
