January Neighborhood Roundtables 

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the January Neighborhood Roundtables.  

The Ingham County Landbank shared the updated neighborhood maps showing Landbank properties throughout Lansing neighborhoods.  Executive Director Jeanna Paluzzi is available to provide information about landbank parcels and projects specific to your neighborhood.

Household income of less than $54,000 in 2017 is eligibility.

State of the City

Please join Mayor Andy Schor for the 2018 State of the City Address!

5:30 pm — doors open, refreshments available in cafeteria 
6:30 pm — event begins, guests are asked to be in auditorium seats
7:00 pm — speech begins and goes live on TV

The speech will be broadcast live on at 7:00 pm on City TV and local news stations that are TBA.

Eastside Neighborhood Association 

ENO has cancelled the February 7th meeting since it was scheduled for the same time as the State of the City.  ENO is encouraging all of their neighbors to attend the State of City. The next meeting will be on March 7th at 7pm in room 209 at Foster Community Center.   with a presentation from the Ingham County Register of Deeds office.

ENO Spring Souper is February 24th 4-6:30pm at Pattengill Academy.  I have attached the flyer for this event to this email if you want to print some out. It is your choice.

*Neighborhood Roundtables meetings are offered 3x/month.  The Thursday meeting is at 6:00 pm and the Friday meetings are at 8:00 am and 12:00 noon.  All meetings are held at the Neighborhood Empowerment Center 600 W. Maple

**Housing + Neighborhood Resource Summits bring City of Lansing staff and community resources directly to citizens.  The event rotates around to each ward, but the entire city is always welcome to attend.  Event locations are being finalized and most are held at Lansing Public Schools. 

***Concerts in the Park are held on Wednesdays throughout the summer.  Locations and lineup are in development.

****The Lansing Citizens Academy will launch this year and will be a complement to the existing Lansing Citizens Police Academy  All facets of city government will be explored.  For reference, a good model program nearby is the Midland Citizens Academy.
