Fall Leaves Reminder
Drain 1
Drain clogged with fall leaves

Unclog those storm drains!

Leaves in the street clog the storm drains and create flooding.  Unclog the storm drains in your neighborhood.  Check out this quick video for a trip from the storm water catch basin to the river.

Brag A Little!

Did your neighborhood complete a project this year with funding from the Neighborhood Advisory Board grant?  We'd love to feature your successful project or event in our 2017 report.  Send your photos and a project description to Ben Thompson at ben.thompson@lansingmi.gov by December 8.

Have a Great Idea for your Neighborhood?

The Neighborhood Advisory Board Grant application preview will be held on Tuesday December 14th 6:00 pm at Foster Community Center.  Bring your grant idea or draft application and get feedback from the board on ways to strengthen your proposal.  The grant preview is highly recommended, especially for first time applicants.

Apply for a $100 stipend & host a great block party or plan something bigger and apply for a small (up to $650) or large (up to $3,000) project grant. Ready to make an even bigger impact? Apply to take on a Love Your Block project of up to $5,000 and work directly with the Neighborhood Resource Team to bring your project to life.  See the 2017 Love Your Block project report link below for examples.

All applications are due Jan. 12, 2018 and funds are awarded April 2018.
