The City of Lansing is holding meetings November 15th and 29th to gather public input on its walking and biking plan. The goal of this plan is to provide a framework for creating a comprehensive network of sidewalks, trails, bike lanes, crosswalks and other non-motorized facilities in the city of Lansing.
The meetings will provide an overview of the City’s current plan, which was adopted in 2011, and the projects completed since its adoption. Those attending will be asked to provide feedback on 1) the current plan, including input on additional facilities needed to complete the network and 2) implementation priorities for the next five years (2017 – 2021).
