Stadium District

The Stadium District is a four story mixed use development proposed by developer Patrick Gillespie. The building is slated to begin construction in the summer of 2006 and be completed by spring of 2008. The building is to occupy the entire south side of the 500 block of East Michigan Avenue, across from Cooley Law School Stadium.

The building will have ground floor retail, the second floor will be half office, half apartments, the third floor will be entirely apartments, and the fourth floor will be "for sale" condos with a rooftop patio. Leases have already been signed for the retail / office portion of this project in which 5/3 Bank will move into the suite at the corner with Cedar and will include a drive-thru, an unnamed coffee shop will occupy the suite at the corner with Larch and the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce will occupy the second floor office space.
