Lansing City Market

Established in 1909, the Lansing City Market’s reconstruction along the Grand River has strengthened Lansing’s downtown corridor by creating a welcoming home for more than a dozen merchants.

The $1.5 million reconstruction was completed in April of 2011, as a part of the $24 million Market Place riverfront project.

Currently the Market features a wide variety of merchants offering: kayak and canoe rentals (weather-permitting), beer, wine, produce, grocery items, artisan cheese, organic meat, baked goods, fresh flowers, BBQ, gifts, souvenirs and a full-service bar and grill.
